After the roaring success of the first edition of ‘Soul of Rajasthan’, the leading branding and marketing firm, Pathfynder launched Soul of Rajasthan – Second Edition.
In a glamorously unique style, the launch event of the book was held at Mool Foundation in two days of exhibition and free reading sessions on March 21 and 22, 2015 .
Prominent personalities and dignitaries came to visit the event and spent a pretty good time in appreciating and admiring the different chapters and the whole of Soul Of Rajasthan– the Coffee Table Book !
Jaipur’s great businessman and socialite Mr. Sudhir Mathur praised the Coffee Table Book Soul Of Rajasthan with heartening words “A great collection of photographs and write ups. Great going, I am Impressed” and the person behind MOOL Foundation Rajan Bhatt said, “What a happy journey through Rajasthan J Good Stuff Gaurav and Pathfynder Team” while a young boy Rahul Saraswat said, “Being a rajasthani i felt more proud and glad today ..true gem of rajasthan Gaurav sir ..thank u for showcasing rajasthan so beautifully…” Such straight from the heart reviews from our guests truly overjoyed our team who worked day in and out to come up with the “Soul Of Rajasthan.”
The Second edition fabulously took all the guests and attendees on a beautiful journey throughdifferent faces of Rajasthan. Aprt from the city some foreign tourists too showed interest and gained in-depth information about the book at the event.
Comprising 144 pages, 143 photographs, the Coffee Table book contained 117 photographs clicked by Gaurav Hajela, the Founder of Pathfynder and the Author of Soul Of Rajasthan. The content of the team stands out with beautiful heads (Titles).
The preview and exhibition of Soul of Rajasthan was a grand success that saw the glitterati of Jaipur from various fields like art, photography, marketing, social media, as well as genuine art lovers of the town.
We are delighted with the love, blessings, appreciation and encouragement received in last two days during our exhibition for the book Soul of Rajasthan . Would like to thank each and all for making the launch of Soul of Rajasthan’s second edition a great success 🙂

To develop an effective marketing program, Jaipur Beat which is an online digital magazine of Pink City and a brainchild of Pathfynder, launched the concept of Contestober aimed to celebrate the festive mood of the month October.
Jaipur Beat conducted its first Contestober in association with one of the leading fine dining restaurants of Jaipur ‘The Forresta Kitchen & Bar’. Contestober #1 ‘Forresta Foodesta’ kicked off on October 8, 2014 and ran till October 10, 2014. With interesting brand related question the contest received amazing audience engagement and garnered huge number of likes on Facebook by the food lovers of the city.
Jaipur Beat also initiated and executed another contest in association with Rabhyaa which is a notable jewelry brand of Pink City. Contestober #2 ‘Shine with Rabhyaa’ was set into motion on October 16, 2014 and ended on Dhanteras i.e. October 21, 2014. This contest which tested the basic knowledge of jewelry drew an overwhelming response from the enthusiastic people of the city.
We all know that the selfie obsession has got into the blood of our country’s youth. So to celebrate the love affair of our youth with their cameras, Jaipur Beat in association with Fotopro launched Contestober #3 ‘Fotomania’ on October31, 2014. The selfie lovers of the city participated in the contest with a lot of zeal and the vibrant faces in the pictures clearly justified the saying ‘Self love is the best love’.
The concept, content and creative designs for all the contests were conceived and actualized by Pathfynder to build a loyal fan base for its customers on Facebook. Pathfynder along with Jaipur Beat was able to create an innovative approach and use the power of social media to shape up and attract traffic for the contests successfully.
The day when Pathfynder received its first International order of making a Coffee Table Book and that too on ‘Rajasthan’ where our soul resides.
June 7,2013- a milestone for Pathfynder
Gaurav Hajela, the Managing Partner at Pathfynder Solutions, is the brain behind the concept of “Soul of Rajasthan” and making a coffee table book on Rajasthan was always a beautiful dream for him which was about to come true.
“Finally that moment in life arrives. A coffee table book on Rajasthan goes on the drawing board from tomorrow onwards with photographs clicked by me and content and design by PATHFYNDER” (tweeted Gaurav Hajela), when his dream project of making a Coffee Table Book on Rajasthan and first International order for Pathfynder finally arrived.
The idea of this book was conceived with the purpose of reflecting the true essence of Rajasthan in a different way so as to make the reader feel close to the culture albeit where he or she is sitting. The task was not easy as the job is to be done within a month. So, the team started working 24*7 and no one was bothered of tick- tock of the clock hanging on the wall. It was challenge for one and all be it designers, content writers or any one in office.
SAGA in making…
After rounds and rounds of brain storming sessions and rejections we finally picked up with the Title of the Book- ‘Soul Of Rajasthan’
Selection of photographs, original content creation, deciding on designing themes of different chapters, clicking new pictures according to the theme…there was so much to do and that too within the deadline of one month.
To be factual enough: 72 pages in 38 days, loads of content with massive designing and justified selection of photographs. And yes only 24 hours of working in a day….apni to band bajne wali hai…..But the passion and motivation of team was much beyond these limitations.
And the first few rough print outs just gave us the feel of being actually a part of Saga in making….

And finally on 17th July, 2013 at 3.00 AM the coffee table book Soul of Rajasthan is finally complete. That we worked our ass off for this project would be an understatement.

The magic of this combination was felt and enjoyed thoroughly at the Kingfisher Beer-Up event on Sunday, 14th April at Forresta Kitchen and bar, Jaipur.
Kingfisher Beer, a very popular brand known nationwide organized this event for the first time in JaipurThe event was by invitation only and RSVP was created through Twit-invite. A tweet-up for beer lovers on Sunday that was limited to users from Twitter community only. Kingfisher announced about the event on Twitter 7 days in advance from their official handle “@kingfisherworld with #KFBeerup as the hash-tag. The RSVP was opened on 12th April and within 90 mins 80 registrations were complete.
Before we start talking about the event, let’s start from the fact that why is it called ‘Beerup’. The name comes from ‘Tweetup’ which is an event where people who tweet come together to meet in person. A tweetup is a great opportunity to really connect with the people in your network personally and share just a little more than 140 characters at a time, and when this connection involves chilled beer and lots of fun, then Beerup is what takes place !!
This time #KFBeerup was organized for the first time in Jaipur. This is how the event was captured live and live tweets were done from the venue itself. The word started spreading and twitter world buzzed with hash tag “#Kfbeerup” as people tagged their friends on twitter to inform them about the #Kfbeerup.
Pathfynder captured the event live where pictures were clicked and live tweets were done from the venue itself.
The selection of participants for games was also done through Twitter. There were hash-tags for each game and people who tweeted fastest were selected to play. As the hash-tags were not very user-friendly, two LCD TV’s were put for guests to read and tweet from there. Real time Twitter timeline was visible on the LCD screens for people to see who tweeted fastest. A very transparent selection process indeed.
We at Pathfynder were there till the end. We were real time tweeting on the official profile of The Forresta, the venue for this event. We were clicking the pictures as the evening progressed, were uploading them and also declaring results. At times we were faster then the official handle of Kingfisher.
What were heartening to see were so many active Twitter users from Jaipur in this event, that it took just 90 mins for the RSVP of this event to close is a turning point for Social Media in Jaipur. Must say Social media has arrived in Jaipur….finally.

Talking of ‘experiential marketing’, this event set a great example. The event saw a new and fresh face of social and digital media marketing where an event infused brand enthusiasm among the twitter users and gave a kingly feel to the beer lovers 🙂
Qube Pro : A Pro in making
Although there are various sizes of tablets available in the market, the closest a Tablet to match a Laptop is 9” or above. 9” tablet due to its size and convenience, give user a choice of skipping the usage of Laptop. Qube Pro, fits the bill of an occasional as well as a serious Tablet with its 9.7” screen. One looks at Qube Pro and realizes it’s a serious machine we are referring to.
Design and Build
Qube Pro is a solid looking Tablet with black front and grey rear. All the buttons including the power button are available on the sides of the tablet whereas the speakers and rear camera is at the back.
The design of Qube Pro is user friendly and convenient to use in either landscape or portrait mode. The rear touches directly to the surface and hence we suggest using the tablet always with a cover.
Feature and Performance
Once you power on Qube Pro you are welcomed with a bright green logo of Qube followed by Android’s logo. The Pro comes with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream sandwich preloaded. The OS is optimized for Tablet and comes with all the goodies required for a routine user. The tablet comes with two speakers that are quite decent. However, watching a movie based on those would not be advised. The Pro comes with following ports on the left panel: headphone, USB, Mini SD card slot, HDMI and DC input 5V-2A. The top left comes with home and back button that is also possible through the Android touch screen based commands.
The booting process is very fast. The apps loading are also quick however it tends to get a bit slow when lots of app are open in the RAM. The Boxchip A10 @ 1.5 Ghz is quite handful for the apps and OS. The Qube Pro comes with 8000MAH/3.7V battery. The life of the battery depends on the application usage however it leaves much to be desired when it come to multimedia and high end graphic usage. That is largely due to the fact that screen size takes a lot out of the battery.
The Tablet comes with external 3G USB dongle support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for communication and Internet connectivity.
Display and Screen
I am using an Apple iPad for my personal use. I have also used Samsung Tab for some time. Must say that Qube Pro comes with one of the best Capacitive Multi-touch screen with precise and quick response. The resolution is 1366 * 768 with 16: 9 aspect ratios. The quality of graphics is quite acceptable looking at the price point this is sold at. The limitations are there when we are playing high graphic intensive games. There you crave for more.
Apps and Camera
The good thing about Qube Pro is that it comes with essential apps preloaded for Indian users. Some of them are TOI for news, Just Dial for local search based on GPS, ESPN cricinfo for cricket news and updates etc. The Tablet is ready to use once you take it out of the box. Social Media tools such as Google + and Facebook are also preloaded.
The Tablet comes with dual camera that serves the purpose of Chat, Skype etc.
Having used numerous Tablets both at high end and low end, I must say that Qube Pro surprised me with its performance and value for money feature. The Tablet just delivers what we expect from it. The price point is so aggressive that you end up buying a bigger Tablet, which eventually helps when the usage increases. Except for not so good battery performance, Qube Pro delivers more than you expect it to.
